Research Analyst Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of financial statements, valuation methodologies, and sector dynamics. They should also possess proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Track and analyze cement sector companies, industry trends, demand–supply dynamics, pricing, and capacity expansions.
  • Conduct research on infrastructure and real estate sectors, including regulatory updates, market performance, and growth opportunities.
  • Build and maintain detailed financial models for coverage companies.
  • Assist in preparing research reports, sector updates, and thematic studies.
  • Support client interactions with data-driven insights and presentations.
  • Monitor global and domestic macroeconomic developments impacting the sector.
Requirements:

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • A strong understanding of financial statements, valuation methodologies, and sector dynamics is required.
  • Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis is necessary.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment is crucial.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA (Finance) / CA / CFA or equivalent qualification is desirable.
