Intellectual Property Risk Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Intellectual Property Risk Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in intellectual property law and experience in risk management.

Responsibilities:

  1. Review new product designs for potential intellectual property risks and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
  2. Conduct advanced patent and competitor portfolio analysis to identify potential threats and opportunities.
  3. Collaborate with legal associates to prepare and review Freedom-to-Operate (FTO) opinions and reports.
  4. Plan and conduct Bill of Materials (BOM) FTO reviews for new products across various technology domains.
  5. Implement best-in-class practices, standardize processes, and enhance productivity through digitalization.
  6. Release periodic IP alerts and manage stakeholder concerns effectively.
  7. Develop and implement search strategies for SOA, FTO, litigation, and invalidation/opposition searches across multiple jurisdictions.
  8. Maintain confidentiality of IP matters, systematically document records, and promote a culture of intellectual property awareness.

Requirements:

  • Graduate or higher degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electronics/Automotive/Material Science) or a related field.
  • WON certificate and Qualified Patent Agent Exam will be an advantage.
  • Experience in intellectual property law and risk management is essential.
