About the Role

Our organisation seeks a highly skilled Senior Financial Risk Manager to play a pivotal role in creating and maintaining our financial risk management framework. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operational risk management, private banking, and wealth management.

This individual will be responsible for identifying, assessing, documenting, and reviewing risks within our Private Bank division. They will design, implement, and test controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Additionally, they will develop and test key procedures, create and review key risk indicators, and manage risk incident reports.

  • Developing and implementing sustainable growth strategies that align with operational risk frameworks.
  • Designing and testing effective controls to mitigate identified risks.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to monitor front-line performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Providing expert advice on risk management best practices and industry standards.
Requirements
  • A 2:1 degree from a top university or equivalent experience.
  • At least 6 years of experience in operational risk management, preferably in financial services.
  • Proven experience in private banking or wealth management.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • A solid track record of achievement, including winning competition awards.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
