Cloud Automation Engineer

We seek a skilled professional to design and optimize infrastructure automation solutions across cloud-based environments.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and hands-on skills in VMware automation, Aria stack, OpenShift, Nutanix, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Develop reusable IaC templates using Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.
  • Automate provisioning and configuration across public and private clouds.
  • Implement VMware automation with Aria stack and enable policy-as-code.
  • Manage OpenShift clusters to support containerized environments.
  • CI/CD Pipelines:
    • Build CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and GitHub Actions.
  • Integrate automated testing and quality checks for deployments.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to streamline software development life cycles.
  • Cloud Platform Management:
    • Deploy and optimize infrastructure on VMware, OCI, and Google Cloud.
  • Enable multi-cloud strategies with Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Audit and automate solutions on Nutanix platforms.
  • Monitoring & Optimization:
    • Implement monitoring and auto-scaling mechanisms.
  • Troubleshoot and ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness.
  • Required Skills & Qualifications:
    • Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.
    • CI/CD pipeline expertise (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions).
    • Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripting.
    • Expertise in VMware automation & Aria stack.
    • Experience with Nutanix (AHV, Prism, Calm).
    • Familiarity with Git/GitOps workflows.
    • Preferred Certifications:
      • Terraform Associate (HashiCorp)
      • OCI Certified Architect
      • Kubernetes (CKA / CKAD / OpenShift EX280)
      • VMware Certifications
      • Nutanix (NCA / NCP-MCI)
