Job Title:

Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to oversee the optimization and maintenance of our cloud environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Leverage expertise in cloud infrastructure to identify areas for improvement, implement cost-saving measures, and enhance overall system performance.
  • Closely track daily/weekly usage patterns, spending reports, and billing statements to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Develop and maintain scripts/automation (Python, Bash, or similar) for cost reporting, resource clean-up, and efficiency improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to right-size compute, storage, and database resources.
  • Implement reserved instances, savings plans, auto-scaling policies, and storage lifecycle policies to reduce spend.
  • Utilize native tools like AWS Cost Explorer, CloudWatch, GCP Billing, as well as third-party monitoring platforms.
Requirements:
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS and/or GCP services (EC2, S3, IAM, GKE, BigQuery, etc.).
  • Experience in cloud cost monitoring & optimization.
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting/programming language (Python, Bash, Shell, etc.).
  • Understanding of SRE concepts: reliability, scalability, monitoring, and automation.
  • Prior experience in cost analysis and optimization for enterprise workloads.
