Corporate Governance Specialist

The Corporate Governance Specialist plays a pivotal role in supporting corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and efficient operations. This dedicated professional will serve as the primary liaison between the board of directors, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities on matters of corporate governance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate meetings, including agenda preparation, documentation, and follow-up.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements under relevant laws.
  • Maintain registers, records, and ensure timely filing of documents with regulatory bodies.
  • Advise senior leadership on legal obligations, compliance matters, and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Qualified professional with active membership in relevant institutes.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate governance, secretarial functions, and regulatory compliance—preferably in the industry sector.

Preferred Skills:

  • Master's degree in Corporate Governance, Business Law, or related fields.
  • Certifications in corporate compliance or governance (e.g., Compliance Management, Risk Governance).
  • Exposure to corporate governance software (e.g., Board portal tools).
