Cloud Transformation Leader

We are seeking a visionary leader to spearhead our cloud transformation, driving the strategic direction of our end-to-end cloud platform. This role involves cross-functional collaboration with engineering, security, and business stakeholders to design and execute a comprehensive cloud roadmap.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver scalable, secure, and resilient Azure solutions that meet the needs of our organization.
  • Assess our current infrastructure, applications, and business requirements to determine the optimal cloud architecture.
  • Lead the development process and operations, identifying areas for improvement and mentoring the team to promote a culture of excellence.
  • Develop and execute cloud migration strategies with minimal operational disruption.
  • Participate in architectural reviews, threat modeling, and risk mitigation planning.
  • Utilize deep analytical skills to identify issues and develop innovative solutions.
  • Manage proof of concepts and exploratory projects to identify and evaluate the most suitable Cloud Computing model for our business context.
  • Collaborate with cloud computing colleagues to define best practices, use cases, and guidance documents.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 20+ years of IT experience, with at least 5+ years architecting and deploying large-scale Azure solutions.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of current infrastructure, applications, and business requirements to design optimal cloud architecture.
  • Designing scalable solutions to accommodate growth and fluctuating workloads, ensuring reliability and resiliency.
  • Designing architectures with redundancy, fault tolerance, and high availability to minimize downtime and ensure continuous service delivery.
  • Hands-on experience evaluating and selecting appropriate cloud services that best suit our needs.
  • Collaborating with teams to identify optimal cloud solutions and designing cloud-based systems and training internal teams on cloud technologies and best practices.
