Job Opportunity: Solar Project Engineer


The position of a Solar Project Engineer is available in our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing mechanical works at solar project sites, ensuring that they are in line with approved engineering designs and industry standards.


The role involves providing real-time design support for site-specific modifications in module mounting structures (MMS), trackers, and mechanical layouts. This includes reviewing and interpreting mechanical design drawings issued by the Head Office (HO) and preparing/ modifying site-specific mechanical drawings when required.


The candidate will also conduct wind load and structural stability checks for site-specific conditions, verify MMS foundation positions, tilt angles, and row spacing as per design, and support fabrication, welding, and erection quality checks against approved standards.


The position requires strong knowledge of MMS, trackers, and steel structures used in solar projects, as well as an understanding of IS/IEC codes, wind load standards, welding/fabrication practices. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar design/drafting tools is also essential.


The ideal candidate should have 5–8 years of experience in mechanical design and site execution (solar/renewable/industrial projects preferred). A B.E./B.tech in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.


Besides the technical skills, effective communication and problem-solving skills are necessary to resolve site-level challenges. The candidate must be able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
