Job Title: Data Automation Specialist

Location: Remote work available

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled professional to develop automated scripts in Python. The role involves creating golden models, synthetic test data, and ensuring high-quality data delivery in a continuous integration and deployment environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Validation: Design and develop automated scripts in Python to create golden models within SQL Server for data validation.
  • Collaboration: Work with developers and analysts to understand data requirements and ensure proper test coverage.
  • Integration: Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery and deployment.
  • Defect Tracking: Identify, document, and track defects and inconsistencies in data.
  • Test Strategies: Contribute to test automation strategies and reusable SQL test frameworks.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Test Automation: Strong experience in test automation, particularly with data validation and transformation logic.
  • Python: Proficiency in Python, including frameworks such as YData-Synthetic, SDV (Synthetic Data Vault), Gretel-Synthetics, SynthCity, and DoppelGANger.
  • CI/CD: Experience in CI/CD environments and integrating automated tests into pipelines.
  • Databases: Solid understanding of relational databases and data warehousing concepts.
  • GE Plant Applications: MUST HAVE: Experience with GE Plant Applications.
  • SQL Server: Nice to have: Experience with MS SQL Server.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
