Job Title: Senior Structural Engineer LeaderAbout the Role:We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Structural Engineer to lead our team in the design and assessment of bridges, culverts, and ancillary structures.Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Undertake thorough assessments of existing bridges and prepare comprehensive assessment reports with expertise in Steel Composite, Pretension/Posttension structures.
  • Carry out feasibility studies for strengthening and repair, and prepare new bridge design and strengthening design ensuring compliance with relevant UK standards.
  • Conduct detailed design and assessment checks, preliminary and detailed design of bridges, culverts, and ancillary structures, and assessment of bridges, canopies, sheds, signal gantries, portals etc.
  • Prepare or assist others in compiling accurate drawings, specifications, reports, and correspondence within tight deadlines, including checking compliance with project brief.
  • Ensure implementation of robust document control and QA processes for issue and filing/archiving of all work carried out.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 10-15 years of experience in bridge design and assessment.
  • Strong knowledge of Eurocodes, UK CEng, and other relevant design standards.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment.
