Senior Engineering Manager

The Senior Engineering Manager is responsible for leading the engineering team to develop and enhance technical capabilities. They provide guidance and solutions to team members, ensuring process compliance in assigned modules.

  • Leads a team of engineers to achieve technical excellence.
  • Provides technical guidance and solutions to team members.
  • Develops and guides team members to enhance their technical capabilities.
  • Ensures process compliance in assigned modules.
  • Participates in technical discussions and reviews.
  • Prepares and submits status reports to minimize exposure and risks on projects or escalate issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years of experience in Systems Engineering with domain knowledge in Automotive.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Analog power electronics systems.
  • Hands-on experience in Analog circuit design and analysis.
  • Hands-on experience in on-board high wattage power supply design and analysis.
  • Hands-on experience in board bring-up and testing.
  • Knowledge on EMI EMC compliant design.
  • Knowledge on microcontroller digital circuit design and serial interfaces like SPI, I2C, UART.
  • Experience in troubleshooting electronic circuits.
  • Experience in Spice simulations.
  • Experience in preparing layout guidelines.
  • Hands-on experience in schematic entry, BOM generation, and optimization.
  • Experience in understanding schematics.
  • Hands-on experience in preparing documents like test plans and test reports.
  • Hands-on experience in using equipment like DSO, signal generator, thermal imager, and data logger.
  • Experience in thermal and reliability testing.
  • Experience in system-level testing and validation of electronic products.
  • Experience in deriving test plans and specifications from CRS requirements.
  • Experience in verifying and validating electronic products against CRS.
  • Experience in vendor supplier interaction.
  • Experience in identifying root causes.
