Job Title: Supply Chain Operations ManagerThe ideal candidate will oversee the distribution plan from a central warehouse to multiple branch warehouses across various product categories. They will align planning with business performance, customer channels, and frequency of distribution.Responsibilities include:
  • Oversight of the distribution plan from a central warehouse to multiple branch warehouses.
  • Alignment of planning with business performance, customer channels, and frequency of distribution.
  • Ownership of inventory availability by designing robust distribution frameworks, prioritization models, and scenario-based planning to manage constraints.
  • Ensuring product availability for billing across all channels.
  • Defining and monitoring inventory holding policies and norms based on network lead times, SKU classification, and channel priorities.
  • Driving replenishment planning using rolling inventory norms.
  • Optimizing dispatch plans considering FTL loads, promotional priorities, seasonality, and inter-branch transfer reduction.
  • Ensuring effective stock distribution across the network with focus on cost optimization and availability.
  • Establishing replenishment mechanisms across all inventory nodes.
  • Ensuring stock availability and fill rate ownership for all customer channels – distributors, retailers, modern trade chains, and e-commerce platforms.
  • Identifying and monitoring slow-moving / obsolete stocks.
  • Designing and executing mitigation and liquidation plans to minimize risk.
  • Acting as a single point of contact for sales teams on product availability and predictability.
  • Managing demand-supply balancing for institutional channels and MTO orders.
  • Working closely with warehouse teams to measure and redefine SLAs, ensuring dispatch compliance and reprioritization as needed.
  • Collaborating with logistics teams for efficient vehicle planning and load optimization.
  • Leading the operational distribution planning team on overall improvements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Supply Chain Planning, Distribution Planning & Inventory Planning
  • Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)
  • Strong proficiency in Excel & Advanced Excel
  • Ability to manage complexity of large SKU base and multi-channel distribution.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration (Sales, SCM, Finance, Logistics).
  • Proactive mind-set with ability to balance cost, availability, and service levels.
