Job Title: Performance and Monitoring Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality performance monitoring and observability solutions using advanced tools like Elasticsearch, Kibana, Grafana, and Dynatrace.
  • Apply modern observability best practices such as SRE, SLI/SLO, Synthetic, APM, and RUM to ensure seamless IT operations.
  • Develop scripts in Python, Shell, and PowerShell to automate tasks and improve efficiency.
  • Cultivate strong knowledge of IT service management frameworks like ITIL and its associated tools.
  • Maintain a high level of proficiency in Service Now ticketing system.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders through written and spoken English skills.
Tech Requirements:
  • Demonstrate expertise in implementing backup and resilience strategies in IT production environments.
  • Understand the fundamental concepts of distributed systems and their applications.
  • Develop basic RedHat Linux administration and performance management skills.
  • Familiarize yourself with Ansible and Ansible Tower for automation.
  • Explore containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, Nomad, and OpenShift.
  • Gain experience working with cloud platforms, preferably IBM Cloud.
  • Possess excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
