Optimizing vessel performance is essential for the success of a maritime fleet. As a key specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring operational efficiency and compliance across our vessels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor hull condition across the fleet and recommend inspections, grooming, and antifouling activities to maintain optimal performance.
  • Track long-stay vessels and plan timely hull actions to prevent potential issues.
  • Arrange and oversee hull cleaning, inspections (UWI/C), and grooming operations to meet performance and regulatory standards.
  • Ensure compliance with biofouling regulations and maintain validity for hull loggers.
  • Verify invoices against work scope and monitor vendor service quality to optimize costs.
  • Provide operational advice to chartering and operations on hull cleaning availability, costs, and drydock/inspection history.
  • Support legal cases by providing evidence for hull fouling disputes.
Your Profile:
  • Degree in Marine Engineering or related field of study is preferred.
  • Prior sailing experience as 2nd Officer or 3rd Engineer with minimum 12 months sailing experience; OR
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in the shipping industry, ideally with exposure to hull management, vessel performance, or technical operations.
  • At least 3 to 5 years shore-based experience in fleet performance / technical operations with strong understanding of vessel operations, hull performance, and compliance requirements.
