Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team.

  • In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in fabrication, welding, painting, and erection activities of Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB).
  • You will inspect and monitor raw materials, fabricated components, and finished structures as per drawings and specifications.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of welding processes (SMAW, SAW, MIG, etc.) and knowledge of fabrication and erection processes for PEB structures.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and monitor raw materials, fabricated components, and finished structures as per drawings and specifications.
  • Conduct quality checks for welding, bolting, cutting, and assembly processes in line with PEB standards.
  • Carry out dimensional inspection of built-up sections, secondary members, and assemblies.
  • Monitor surface preparation, blasting, and painting/coating quality as per required standards.
  • Prepare inspection reports, maintain quality records, and ensure traceability of materials.
  • Coordinate with production, erection, and project teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO/IS/ASTM/AISC/MBMA standards and client specifications.
  • Participate in internal and external audits.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in the quality management system.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical / Civil Engineering.
  • 2–5 years of experience in Quality Control in PEB / Steel Structure fabrication industry.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical ability.
  • Good communication and reporting skills.
  • Sound knowledge of welding processes.
