Chief Executive Officer Job Description

This senior leadership role oversees the strategic direction, operational efficiency, and financial growth of a mechanical engineering organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in business strategy, manufacturing processes, and engineering lifecycle.

The Chief Executive Officer is responsible for defining the company's long-term vision, driving innovation, and positioning the business as a leader in the global market. Key performance indicators include revenue growth, profitability, cash flow management, production efficiency, quality performance, and customer acquisition.

Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Develop and implement the company's strategic roadmap.
    • Lead product innovation, technology adoption, and R&D in mechanical engineering.
    • IDentify and expand into new domestic and international markets.
  • Operational Excellence:
    • Ensure efficiency, quality, and productivity in all manufacturing operations.
    • Implement lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Industry 4.0 practices.
    • Maintain compliance with industry, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Financial & Business Performance:
    • Own and deliver the P&L, budgets, and financial forecasts.
    • Drive revenue growth, cost optimization, and profitability.
    • Develop new revenue streams and strengthen customer base.
  • People Leadership:
    • Build and lead a high-performing executive and management team.
    • Promote a culture of innovation, accountability, and operational excellence.
    • Lead workforce planning, skills development, and succession strategies.
  • Stakeholder & Market Engagement:
    • Collaborate with the Board of Directors on strategic decision-making.
    • Build strong relationships with clients, partners, industry bodies, and regulators.
    • Represent the company as an industry leader in mechanical engineering.

The CEO's performance will be evaluated against measurable outcomes, including revenue growth, EBITDA margin, cash flow management, production efficiency, quality performance, customer acquisition, and market share increase.
