Job Title: Dual Agile Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to take on the dual role of Scrum Master and Business Analyst.

  • This is an exciting opportunity for someone who can effectively facilitate Agile/Scrum best practices and principles in a technical environment, while also collaborating with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
Main Responsibilities:Agile Facilitation:
  • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives) to ensure efficient project delivery and team collaboration.
  • Coach the team on Agile/Scrum best practices and principles to enhance their understanding and adoption.
  • Remove impediments and foster a collaborative, self-organizing team environment that promotes open communication and problem-solving.
  • Track and communicate team metrics (velocity, burndown, etc.) to stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment.
  • Work closely with Team, Business and Stakeholders to ensure a well-groomed and prioritized backlog that aligns with business objectives.
Business Analysis:
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for data warehouse and data services projects.
  • Translate business needs into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria to ensure accurate requirement capture.
  • Work with data architects, engineers, and QA to ensure requirements are understood and delivered accurately.
  • Develop process flows, data mappings, and other documentation as needed to support project deliverables.
  • Support data quality initiatives and help define data governance standards to ensure data integrity and compliance.
  • Assist in user acceptance testing and validation of data solutions to ensure they meet business requirements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in a technical environment.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in data warehousing, data analytics, or data services.
  • Strong understanding of data warehouse concepts, ETL processes, and data modeling.
  • Experience with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Optional but good to have - Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent).
  • Experience with SQL and data analysis tools is a plus.
