Job Title: Technical Product Manager

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to lead the execution of product lifecycle processes for our Insurtech products/platforms, working with cross-functional teams to ensure fulfillment of product requirements.

The ideal candidate will have extensive API Integration, SQL data mapping experience and the ability to contribute to technical discussions with engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute product strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead technical discussions with Engineering teams and manage technical/business requirements.
  • Determine product delivery and deployment dates for new product releases, feature and maintenance releases, and regular corrective service or service pack releases.
  • Mentor and drive a team of Product Managers while acting as a technical consultant to the product organization.
  • Ensure the technology and architectural roadmap of engineering is properly aligned with and supports the product/business road map.
  • Act as a customer liaison on technical issues related to product integration, custom development, and requirements.

Requirements:

  • 9+ years of experience in Product Management, including analyzing software/product design, development, and deployment.
  • Bachelor's/Master's or equivalent degree in technology or a related field.
  • Strong background in working as a Technical & Functional Product Manager or Business Analyst/Product Analyst in an enterprise environment.
  • Hands-on understanding of API Integration, SQL, Data Analysis, etc.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC & technology system interfaces, data integration, networks, and operating systems.
  • Coaching and mentoring a team of Product Managers or Product Owners.
  • An SME who performs work with a high degree of latitude; handles the most complex issues.
  • Possess strong Communication skills, Problem-solving & Analytical thinking skills.
  • Can lead individual assignments and deliver with strong expertise.
  • Expert-level experience in delivery methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and the use of relevant tools.
  • Ability to influence, lead, and work as part of a cross-functional global team setup.
  • Experience in Life & Annuity Industry is preferred but not mandatory.
