Senior Director- Product Design Team Overview

The Senior Director, Product Design role is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our organization by designing and releasing intuitive and powerful solutions that will empower both internal teams and external users.

This leadership position will lead the design team and be responsible for setting the design strategy, ensuring a consistent, high-quality user experience across all products. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and driving design decisions informed by user research and testing.

  • Leadership: Lead a team of product designers, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to align on product strategy, goals, and roadmaps.
  • User Advocacy: Advocate for the user through research, testing, and feedback, ensuring design decisions are informed by a deep understanding of user needs and behaviors.

The ideal candidate will have 12+ years of experience in product design within a technology or product-centric company and a strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional design skills, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of user-centered design principles.

  • Develop and implement a holistic design vision for our products, ensuring a consistent, high-quality user experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to drive product strategy and roadmap alignment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, HCI, or a related field, or equivalent.
  • Proven experience leading a team of designers who design and ship AI-powered products or features.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional design skills, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of user-centered design principles.
