Founding Engineering Leader

We are seeking a visionary and experienced engineering leader to spearhead the development of our agentic AI platform. As a founding member of our team, you will be responsible for shaping the technical direction and execution of our product.

This is a hands-on leadership role that requires a strong background in backend, platform, or systems engineering. You will be leading a high-performing distributed engineering team, collaborating closely with product, operations, and implementation teams to deliver into real-world hospital environments.

  • Design and develop scalable, reliable backend infrastructure that powers automation workflows.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing, distributed engineering team.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive technical execution across short-term priorities and long-term strategic initiatives.

Requirements:

  • 7–10 years of experience in backend, platform, or systems engineering.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (Master's preferred or equivalent real-world experience).
  • Deep experience with Python or comparable backend languages in production environments.
  • Proven track record designing and scaling complex systems and APIs.
  • Experience leading engineering teams or projects with high accountability and ownership.
  • Familiarity with data pipelines, distributed systems, and workflow orchestration.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make architecture decisions under ambiguity.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
