Job Summary: As an Ecommerce Quality Assurance Specialist at Group Bayport, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and stability of our e-commerce platforms built on Magento and other customized modules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test Planning & Strategy: Develop comprehensive test plans for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing of Magento-based features and custom modules.
  • Manual Testing: Perform manual testing of new features, customizations, and bug fixes across various platforms to ensure complete coverage.
  • Automated Testing: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using relevant tools to ensure efficient regression testing.
  • Performance & Load Testing: Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to perform performance and load testing to assess the platform's stability and scalability.
  • Bug Tracking & Reporting: Use issue tracking tools to log, track, and manage defects.
  • Collaboration with Development & Product Teams: Work closely with developers and product teams to ensure that tests are designed to validate critical paths and edge cases.
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Support: Assist product managers and business analysts in conducting user acceptance testing to ensure that features meet business requirements and customer expectations.

Requirements:

  • Educational Qualification and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience, with 5+ years of experience in quality assurance testing, focusing on e-commerce platforms.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of testing methodologies, API testing, database testing, test automation tools, CI/CD pipelines, agile methodologies, cloud infrastructure, microservices architectures, and data analysis reporting tools.
  • Behavioural Skills: Strategic thinking, planning and organizing, interpersonal skills, stakeholder management, people leadership, innovation and creativity, and attention to detail.
