Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our logistics operations team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing manpower planning, compliance, and facility management. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to drive process improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manpower Planning and Shift Rostering: Develop and implement effective manpower planning strategies to ensure seamless operations.
  • Compliance and Facility Management: Maintain compliance with all relevant policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Vehicle Connection and Coordination: Coordinate vehicle movements, monitor availability, and optimize unloading/loading processes.
  • Ad-Hoc Vehicle Requirements: Plan for ad-hoc vehicle needs based on load profiles and coordinate with fleet managers.
  • Service Levels and Performance Metrics: Monitor and maintain service levels, tracking performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
  • Communication and Coordination: Facilitate communication between teams, including commercial, security, fleet, and last mile operations.
  • Metric-Driven Functions: Drive metrics in inbound, outbound, floor operations, quality metrics, and first mile metrics.
  • HR/Employee Related KRA's: Focus on diversity hiring, employee morale, and employee safety on the shop floor.
  • Capability Building and Process Improvement: Mentor team members, build their capabilities, and drive process improvement initiatives.
  • Shop Floor Management: Implement industry best practices of shop floor management, including Kaizen, Lean, and Six Sigma methodologies.
