**Logistics Manager Job Description**

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in optimizing logistics operations to achieve business success. Key responsibilities include:

  • Securing cost-effective logistics solutions through negotiation and contract management with carriers, vendors, and service providers.
  • Overseeing export and import customs clearance, as well as ensuring timely deliveries to respective warehouses and customers.
  • Optimizing transportation routes and modes to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
  • Managing local warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
  • Arranging transportation services, including freight forwarding, shipping, and logistics partners, to meet customer demands and organizational objectives.
  • Coordinating and scheduling shipments, deliveries, and inventory management activities to ensure alignment and coordination of logistics activities.
  • Establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the performance of logistics operations and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensuring compliance with local, national, and international regulations related to transportation, trade, and logistics.
  • Building strong relationships with suppliers, carriers, vendors, and customers to support business objectives and enhance customer satisfaction.
