Supply Chain Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Manager to oversee the flow of materials from suppliers to production and final delivery. This involves managing procurement, vendor relationships, inventory, and logistics to ensure seamless execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement & Vendor Management:
    • IDentify and develop new suppliers by requesting RFQs and negotiating costs and delivery terms.
    • Maintain accurate supplier databases and track vendor performance.
  • Inventory Planning & Control:
    • Optimize inventory levels to avoid stockouts or excess stock.
    • Regularly reconcile stock levels using ERP or inventory management systems.
  • Logistics Coordination:
    • Plan inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely deliveries.
    • Liaise with freight forwarders, transporters, and customs agents as needed.
  • Documentation & Compliance:
    • Prepare and manage purchase orders, invoices, and shipping documents.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including HSN codes and GST.
  • Cost & Process Optimization:
    • Track procurement costs and suggest opportunities for cost savings.
    • Work on process automation and ERP implementation for improved efficiency.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Coordinate closely with production, operations, and finance teams to align supply chain activities with business needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Experience:
    • 1-3 years of relevant work experience in supply chain or procurement roles.
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of procurement, logistics, and inventory concepts.
    • Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets; ERP experience is preferred.
    • Good communication, negotiation, and vendor management skills.
    • Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.
    • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
