About this Role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end database lifecycle support.
  • Database administration, design, development, testing, and performance tuning.
  • Collaborate with developers to create new database structures to enhance application functionality and promote database changes across development, testing, and production environments.
  • Responsible for timely database patch applications and periodic upgrades with minimal downtime.
  • Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation and be available for after-hours support as needed.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in database system implementation and administration.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required.
  • Expertise in administering, managing, and tuning high-transaction standalone/RAC production server environments on-premises and in the cloud.

Our Ideal Candidate Will Possess Strong Development Backgrounds, Familiarity With Database Architecture, Logical And Physical Design, Automation, Documentation, Installations, Shell Scripting, PL/SQL Programming, Backup And Recovery Concepts, And Database Performance Tuning.
