Your Impact

  • Drive the execution and delivery of features by collaborating with multiple cross-functional teams, architects, product owners, and engineers.

  • Collaborate in multi-functional coordination, planning, and reviews with leads from other engineering teams.
  • Maintain and encourage our culture by interviewing and hiring only qualified individuals.
  • Occasionally participate in development tasks such as coding and feature verifications to assist teams with release commitments, gain understanding of the deeply technical product, and keep your technical skills sharp.
Requirements

A related technical degree is required. Minimum 15 years of software engineering experience with 3-5 years of proven track record leading sizeable teams with a distinguished track record on technically fast-paced projects is needed.

  • Experience leading large-scale distributed systems, working with microservices, and/or distributed architecture is essential.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, organizational, and time management skills are necessary.
  • Ability to be flexible, proactive, comfortable working with minimal specifications is required.
  • Experience with short release cycles, the full software lifecycle, and experience working on a product that's been released for public consumption is mandatory.
  • Experience in hiring, mentoring, and leading engineers is needed.
  • Working experience of software engineering best practices including coding standards, code reviews, SCM, CI, build processes, testing, and operations is required.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and Scrum Master experience is essential.
  • Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and product management to understand requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs is necessary.

  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce product and platform features, capabilities, and best use of it is preferred.
  • Able to articulate the importance and value of Governance to Business and IT executives is desired.
  • A good understanding of enterprise architecture principles is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to quickly grasp and distinctly explain technological and business concepts is necessary.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, with a deep curiosity to understand customers, their motivations, and needs, and how to approach ensuring their success is desirable.
