Business Analysis Specialist

As a Business Analysis Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying and defining business needs of clients and stakeholders. You will also help determine solutions to meet business needs or resolve business problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Business Analysis approach by communicating, driving, and managing the business analysis effort throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Link technical solutions with business strategy when working with business partners.
  • Precisely capture business problems, value drivers, and functional/non-functional requirements.
  • Assess and model processes, data flows, and technology to understand the current value and issues.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Apply knowledge of competitors' use of IT solutions to gain a competitive edge in projects.
  • Lead stakeholder management activities and create opportunities to make stakeholders feel valued and develop trust.
  • Adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change based on client needs.
  • Provide interpretive, advisory, or facilitating services for others to achieve results.

Required Skills:

  • Extensive experience in corporate IT with IT BA experience.
  • Experience in data visualizations and reporting for easy consumption by all stakeholders.
  • Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree related to IT (MBA preferred).
  • Knowledge of Business Analysis techniques and tools.
  • Understanding of systems engineering concepts and data/process analysis and modeling.
  • Create functional specifications documents, user stories, BRDs, and quality assurance plans to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Work closely with the Product Owner to manage the product backlog and own the backlog grooming process.
  • Opinions valued by business interface and play a prominent role in business partner meetings.
  • Knowledge of the technology landscape including current and future developments.
  • Able to act as a focal point for a specialized area and lead teams while managing multiple competing priorities.
  • Demonstrate concern and aptitude for considering the user's perspective in IT development.
  • Comprehensive understanding of business process improvement, benefit and risk management.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the technical specialism of IT Business Analysis.
  • Ability to take a systematic and analytical approach to problem solving.
  • Agile project experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Impeccable English proficiency for leading discussions with seniors and stakeholders abroad.
