About This Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Practice Development Associate, an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about law and business.

This position combines market research, strategic execution, communications, and PR, allowing you to work at the intersection of law, business development, and media.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market analysis and support practice development initiatives.
  • Prepare submissions for rankings, directories, and awards.
  • Draft and maintain firm profiles, deal lists, experience lists, and marketing collateral.
  • Track market trends, legal developments, and competitor activity relevant to the firm and its practice areas.
  • Support the firm's PR and media outreach, including liaising with journalists and preparing press materials.
  • Assist in planning and executing events, conferences, and thought-leadership initiatives.
  • Maintain and update internal trackers, databases, and practice development dashboards on a real-time basis.
  • Draft internal and external communications, including reports and social media content.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience in legal research, PR, or professional services is a plus.
  • Strong research, analytical, and writing skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfort with online databases and digital tools.
