Human Resources Director Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Human Resources Director to spearhead our organization's culture transformation and lead the HR department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive reports on all areas of HR, including Employment Law, policy, best practice, and workforce development.
  • Develop and advise on effective employment policies across the organization.
  • Lead and support the growth and development of HR staff, ensuring they meet relevant professional standards.
  • Ensure compliance with current regulations, accepted professional standards, policies, and procedures, including data protection, equality, and health and safety legislation.
  • Oversee the execution of our HR Strategy, managing core areas of the department, including Recruitment, Employee Relations, Workforce Administration, Employee Engagement, Payroll, Reward, and Recognition.
  • Foster a continuous improvement agenda focused on engagement, welfare activities, productivity, and leadership capability.
  • Drive organizational culture transformation, ensuring our values and approach are upheld.
  • Develop and implement diversity, equality, and inclusion initiatives that align with company values and business strategy.
Requirements:
  • A Master's Degree in HR or a related field.
  • At least 12 years of experience in an HR role, with a proven track record of creating people strategies.
  • Commercial acumen, experience using metrics for driving performance, and a pro-active attitude.
  • Superior interpersonal skills, a positive manner, and a proactive work ethic.
  • A curious mindset, ability to think innovatively, and experience managing a skilled team.
  • In-depth knowledge of Employment Law, thorough attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
