Job Description

As a key member of our team, you will leverage advanced data curation techniques to make cellular processes explainable, predictable, and engineerable.

We employ AI-driven machine learning & deep learning, causal discovery & inference, and single-cell bioinformatics to drive innovation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough searches in public databases, distinguishing between different functional genomics technologies, and ensuring the accuracy of biological experimental methodologies.

This role requires a strong focus on modern single-cell gene expression technologies and coding skills, as well as critical thinking, attention to detail, and consistency in delivering reliable results.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive searches in public genomic databases (GEO, CellXGene, HumanCell Atlas).
  • Distinguish between different functional genomics technologies and biological experimental methodologies to meet company needs.
  • Understand necessary dataset qualifications.
  • Enter matching datasets into the database accurately with utmost attention.
  • Validate/cross-check new datasets to avoid duplicates or problems.
  • Optimize database structure to enhance information flow.

Qualifications:

  • Ph.D graduate in computational biology, bioinformatics, single-cell biology, genomics, immunology, biomedical engineering, or related field.
  • Technical knowledge of genomics, molecular biology, and technologies such as qPCR and next-generation sequencing.
