Role Summary

Our organization seeks a seasoned .NET professional to assume the position of Technical Director. As a highly skilled leader, you will oversee the development and implementation of robust backend services and APIs, utilizing AI-powered tools to enhance productivity.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices and RESTful APIs under the guidance of senior architects, fostering valuable experience in cloud-native development and modern backend architecture patterns.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of complex .NET applications, ensuring they meet high standards of scalability, performance, and security.
  • Collaborate with engineers to design, implement, and deploy new features, adhering to Agile methodologies.
  • Provide technical oversight and mentorship to junior developers, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications for maximum efficiency and reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with application security and data protection policies through adherence to established guidelines.
  • Partner with DevOps teams to support continuous integration and deployment pipelines, ensuring seamless product delivery.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on .NET technologies.
  • Proven track record of developing large-scale enterprise-level applications using .NET Core and .NET Framework.
  • Experience with front-end technologies like Angular, React, or Blazor is beneficial.
  • Strong grasp of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
  • History of working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS is an asset.
  • Languages & Frameworks: C#, .NET Core, .NET Framework, ASP.NET MVC, Web API
  • Front-End: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Angular/React/Blazor (desired)
  • Database: SQL Server, Entity Framework, LINQ
  • Tools & Platforms: Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, Git, Jenkins
  • Testing: NUnit, xUnit, Moq
  • Cloud & DevOps: Azure/AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines
  • Other Skills: RESTful services, microservices architecture, performance tuning, security best practices
