Job Title:

Windchill Administrator

Specialist in managing and maintaining Windchill environments to ensure optimal system performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform day-to-day administration of Windchill base and user accounts, including access rights and daily system management.
  • Manage operations and monitoring of Windchill environments to ensure system reliability and efficiency.
  • Configure and operate CAD & non-CAD workers (Creo, BricsCad) and Office workers for streamlined data processing.
  • Support the Windchill interface landscape operations and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
  • Execute system setup, environment cloning, preparation, and rehosting tasks to create development and non-productive environments using best practices.
  • Administer Solr indexing operations, including configuration, monitoring, and bulk reindexing for optimized search results.
  • Oversee file servers and vaults for secure and efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • Manage queues to optimize system efficiency and productivity.
  • Contribute to solution architecture tasks within PLM infrastructure for specialized areas.
  • Provide focused expertise in database basics, scripting, and targeted troubleshooting to resolve complex issues.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Proven experience in Windchill administration and support with a strong focus on problem-solving.
  • Hands-on experience with system setup, configuration, monitoring, and rehosting.
  • Expertise in CAD/Non-CAD worker configuration and support for seamless data processing.
  • Strong knowledge of databases, scripting, and troubleshooting for efficient issue resolution.
  • Experience with Solr indexing, file server/vault administration, and queue management for optimized system performance.
  • Ability to work independently on well-defined tasks while supporting broader administration responsibilities.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills for effective collaboration.
