Job Title: Principal Engineer - Virtual Prototype Modelling

We are seeking a seasoned Principal Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering group, you will play a vital role in developing transaction-level models, porting OS, and creating device drivers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop transaction-level models: You will be responsible for designing and implementing transaction-level models (processors, caches, interconnects, peripherals, NPU, ISP).
  • Port OS and create device drivers: You will need to port the operating system and create device drivers, as well as write self-checking test suites in C/ARM assembly.
  • Verify models at IP & SoC levels: You will verify models at the IP and SoC levels and establish system-level flows/methodologies.
  • Provide virtual prototype support: You will provide virtual prototype support to firmware and software teams.

Requirements:

  • MTech/BTech in EE or CS: You should have an MTech or BTech degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with 10-15 years of hardware engineering experience.
  • Proficiency in programming languages: You should be proficient in C/C++/SystemC, OOP, algorithms, and data structures.
  • Hands-on experience with virtual prototyping tools: You should have hands-on experience with virtual prototyping tools like ARM Fast Models, Synopsys Virtualizer, Windriver SIMICS.
  • Embedded Linux and bare-metal testing skills: You should have embedded Linux and bare-metal testing skills, including debugging, processor, and SoC architecture.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with IP-XACT, SystemRDL, SystemC-AMS: Experience with IP-XACT, SystemRDL, and SystemC-AMS is preferred.
