Menu Data Engineer Position

This is a key role within the Brand Marketing / Menu function, responsible for building scalable and efficient data solutions to support menu item tracking and marketing analytics.

The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of data systems, focusing on menu and marketing Analytics. Key responsibilities include:

  • Menu Data Products Development: Builds and maintains relevant and reliable Menu data products that support menu and marketing Analytics.
  • Technology Solutions Implementation: Develops and implements new technology solutions as needed to ensure ongoing improvement with data reliability and observability.
  • Data Engineering Initiatives: Participates in new software development engineering and leads data engineering initiatives supporting Product Mix Analytics.
  • Business Rule Definition: Works closely with the Product owner to define business rules that determine the quality of Menu datasets.
  • Pipeline Development: Drives and implements best practices for pipeline development, data governance, data security, and quality across marketing and menu-related datasets.
  • Data System Maintenance: Ensures scalability, maintainability, and quality of data systems powering menu item tracking, promotion data, and marketing analytics.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in data engineering technologies and trends, with experience in developing data solutions for complex business problems. They should also possess strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to mentor and coach junior data engineers.
