Job Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to manage the end-to-end import procurement process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Timely float enquiries for procurement of import items as per production plan and receive indent.
  • Offer collection, preparation of commercial documents and creation of purchase orders in SAP.
  • Release vendor payments as per purchase order terms and follow up for delivery with suppliers.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, account department, store department, suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers for day-to-day operations for on-time delivery as per schedule.
  • Prepare and update daily MIS reports such as stock reports, transit stock reports, pending orders, pending advances, EPCG reports, EPR reports, EU reports, and others as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher with 4-6 years of experience or Graduate/Post Graduate with 8-10 years of experience.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office and SAP MM.
  • Knowledge and experience of import procurement (purchase requisition to purchase order and payment process - SAP MM Module), customs clearance, international freight forwarding, inventory control, MIGO, MIRO, movement type, transfer order in SAP, and purchase experience in engineering and industrial DI pipe consumable import and domestic items.
