Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Network Team Lead to spearhead our Cloud Network Infrastructure team.

This role will oversee the architecture, design, installation, maintenance, and management of network equipment, ensuring high availability, flexibility, and performance. The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years of experience in data center networking, with 1-3 years of SDN expertise specifically in private cloud & virtualization domains.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Architecting and designing network infrastructure, including physical and SDN frameworks;
  • Maintaining and auditing infrastructure documentation, ensuring accuracy and up-to-dateness;
  • Collaborating with clients and team members on day-to-day changes, incidents, and requests;
  • Overseeing a team of Network Engineers, providing technical guidance and evaluating team member performance;
  • Proactively monitoring and analyzing key performance metrics to assess risks and business impact;

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • At least 6-8 years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining DataCenter networks;
  • Strong fundamentals in WAN & Routing technologies, Security technologies, Switching technologies, QoS, and Network monitoring protocols;
  • Good knowledge of SDN technologies, preferably hands-on experience with VMWare NSX, Juniper Contrail/Tungsten, Arista, or Cisco;
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve complex problems quickly;
  • Highly motivated individual with effective project management and completion of complex network tasks;

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Requirements:

  • Cisco/Juniper routers, switches, and wireless technologies;
  • Cisco/Juniper/Fortigate firewalls and load balancer technologies;
  • WAN & Routing technologies (Leased lines, GRE VPNs, IPSEC based VPNs, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, VRRP/HSRP, EVPN, etc.);
  • Switching (VLANs, VXLAN LACP, EtherChannel, 802.3ad, VTP, 802.1q) technologies;
  • QoS including basic QoS commands and implementations;
  • Network monitoring protocols (SNMP, NetFlow, Zabbix, PRTG, etc.).

  • Effective project management and time management skills;
  • Self-starter with a keen eye on emerging technologies and trends;
