About the role

We are looking for a UI/UX Designer with strong UX expertise to join our team. In this role, you will focus on understanding user needs, mapping workflows, and designing intuitive experiences. You'll also create visually polished UI and production-ready assets, but your foundation will be in user-centred design and problem solving.

The ideal candidate enjoys moving between UX research, wireframing, and prototyping - while also being comfortable using Figma and AI-assisted tools to quickly translate UX decisions into working UI screens.

This role is hands-on, collaborative, and perfect for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct user research to understand behaviours, needs, and pain points of both end-users and content creators.
  • Translate requirements into user journeys, wireframes, and prototypes that prioritise usability and clarity.
  • Use Figma for design workflows, while leveraging AI tools to speed up the creation of UI screens based on validated UX flows.
  • Create production-ready UI designs, including supporting graphics, illustrations, and icons when needed.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to ensure smooth handoff and implementation.
  • Contribute to and maintain our design system for consistency across devices and platforms.
  • Apply accessibility and usability best practices in all design outputs.
  • Presents designs clearly and thoughtfully to stakeholders.
  • Iterate quickly based on feedback and testing results.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 4–5 years of experience as a UI/UX Designer, with strong emphasis on UX.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates not just final UI, but problem-solving and UX thinking behind your designs.
  • Proficiency in Figma (core design tool) and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects/Lottie).
  • Experience using AI-powered design workflows to accelerate UI generation.
  • Strong communication skills - comfortable explaining design rationale and decisions.
  • Ability to iterate rapidly and adapt designs based on user feedback and project needs.

Bonus Experience

  • Experience with creating content for game engines or websites.
  • Previous AR/VR work experience.
