
SME Business Development Manager

Job Description:
SMEs are the backbone of our economy. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new business prospects within the SME sector. Your role will involve direct sourcing and open market channels to meet existing SME clients and drive revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Originate new business prospects through direct sourcing and open market channels.
- Acquire SME customers and manage their proposals up to the disbursement stage.
- Meet existing SME clients to identify business opportunities and drive revenue.
- Provide SMEs with a range of working capital facilities based on their specific needs.
- Manage and nurture customer relationships addressing both service and sales queries.
- Cross-sell retail banking products to SME customers to maximize revenue and meet sales targets.
- Assess the credit risk associated with SME clients and collaborate with credit and risk teams to ensure sound credit decisions.
