Estimator Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Estimator to lead our cost estimation efforts. This role requires a strong understanding of project requirements, specifications, and scope, as well as the ability to analyze project plans and other relevant documentation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for calculating project costs, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractors. They will also quantify the materials and resources required for projects through quantity takeoff and develop pricing strategies for competitive bids or proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze project requirements, specifications, and scope by reviewing project plans and other relevant documentation.
  • Calculate project costs, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractors.
  • Quantify the materials and resources required for projects through quantity takeoff.
  • Develop pricing strategies and prepare competitive bids or proposals.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical skills for project requirements and documentation.
  • Expertise in cost estimation and quantity takeoff.
  • Knowledge of project pricing and bidding strategies.
  • Ability to conduct risk assessment and account for uncertainties in estimates.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Construction, Engineering, or Project Management.
