Job Title: Technical Support Specialist

As a technical support specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing expert assistance and configuration for banking arm and securities business. You will be responsible for technical support and configuration across both entities, acting on behalf of both under a dual-hat arrangement.

This involves providing technical support for the underlying application, releases, and infrastructure. You will also participate in overnight support rota and weekend work, as required.

">

You must be a self-motivator who can take tasks independently or as part of a team. Documenting technical requirements and processes is essential to capture configurations being performed.

">

The ideal candidate will have experience with vendor applications, including Smartstream Cash Management (CMS) version 4, Control Process Designer, and Smart Schema. They should also be familiar with Change Requests, attending and representing on CAB, and rolling out code changes over weekends.

In addition, the successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, knowledge of Linux shell scripting, Oracle 19 SQL scripting, and JBoss 8 server management. Experience with GitHub software management and Automated deployment via CI/CD pipeline is also desirable.

You will work closely with neighbouring technology and project teams to ensure changes are rolled out in a coordinated manner that is non-disruptive to the business. This requires flexibility, particularly when working on system changes outside of regular business hours.
