Our organization seeks an accomplished leader to spearhead our operations team in Kottayam.

This role involves overseeing manpower planning, shift rostering, and facility upkeep as part of our management structure.

  • We are looking for a highly skilled professional who can manage manpower planning and shift rostering to meet load projections and productivity targets.
  • A strong understanding of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), facility 5S, and overall upkeep of facilities is essential for this position.
  • The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing vehicle connections, availability, and ensuring timely unloading/loading of vehicles.
  • They should be able to plan ad-hoc vehicle requirements based on load profile and coordinate with fleet personnel.
  • Maintaining service levels and meeting performance metrics are critical aspects of this role.
  • Facilitating communication and coordination with different teams (commercial, security, fleet, last mile) is also a key responsibility.
  • The successful candidate will drive metrics in respective functions (inbound operations, outbound operations, floor operations, quality metrics, first mile metrics).
  • They will oversee HR/Employee related Key Result Areas (KRA's) - Diversity Hiring, Employee Morale, Employee safety on the floor.
  • Mentoring and capability building of team members will be an important aspect of this role.
  • The selected individual will continuously explore process improvement opportunities and drive them to closure.
  • Implementing industry best practices of shop floor management - Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma etc. is also expected.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field from a Tier 1 college is required.
  • Post-graduation experience in operations management ranging from 1-3 years is necessary for this position.
