Desktop Support Role

We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to serve as a point of contact for end users and act as a customer-facing representative of our IT team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical assistance to users both in-person and remotely.
  • Process and respond to incoming tickets to ensure timely resolution of incidents and requests.
  • Troubleshoot issues, providing accurate and clear communication to users.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate level of the IT team.
  • Properly record incident actions and follow-up details into the ticketing system.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in desktop support.
  • Proficient technical support skills with Microsoft 365, laptop hardware, iOS and Android devices.
  • Experience with ServiceNow or JIRA.
  • Prior exposure to remote support tools such as Bomgar.
  • Experience with Mobile Device Management tools and endpoint security tools.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical certifications encouraged (Comp TIA A+, MCSE).
  • Ability to troubleshoot and support VOIP systems, teleconferencing, and communications tools.
  • Capable of supporting wireless infrastructure, multi-function copiers, AV, and networking (TCP/IP, DNS).

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical, communication, and follow-up skills, along with a drive to learn and an emphasis on customer support.

Education

Bachelor's Degree required.

Additional Information

The successful candidate will have a strong background in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
