Job Title: Performance Tester

The primary role of a Performance Tester is to ensure the stability and scalability of software applications under various loads. This individual will be responsible for managing critical projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and utilizing their technical expertise to identify performance bottlenecks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and execute comprehensive performance testing strategies using industry-standard tools such as JMeter.
  • Collaborate with development teams to develop and implement automated testing frameworks, ensuring seamless integration with existing processes.
  • Evaluate the performance of software applications, identifying areas of improvement and providing actionable recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain test automation scripts using languages like Java, Python, and VB.NET, ensuring high-quality and efficient execution.
  • Provide daily status reports detailing progress, challenges, and proposed solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the field of performance testing, applying new knowledge to enhance overall team performance.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in performance testing, preferably in the banking domain.
  • Extensive knowledge of JMeter, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
  • Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL, with experience in writing and executing database queries.
  • Strong understanding of test automation principles, including data-driven and keyword-driven testing approaches.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
