Senior DSP Engineer Job Description

This role requires advanced knowledge in signal processing algorithms, Detection and Estimation Theory, Random Processes Analysis, and Communications and Information Theory.

We seek a skilled engineer to design, verify, and test signal processing algorithms using techniques in Detection and Estimation Theory, Random Processes Analysis, and Communications and Information Theory.

The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and simulating end-to-end systems from the ground up to meet performance specifications, as well as data analysis and verification of algorithms against real-world data.

Additionally, the successful candidate will have expertise in MATLAB simulations and fixed-point implementations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and development of signal processing algorithms for detection and estimation theory
  • Simulation and verification of end-to-end systems
  • Data analysis and algorithm verification
  • Implementation of signal processing algorithms in MATLAB and C/C++

Requirements:

  • MSEE with focus on Digital Signal Processing or digital communications theory
  • 3-10 years of experience in implementing DSP algorithms
  • Solid fundamentals in mathematics, digital signal processing, and communication systems
  • Experience in designing, choosing, and optimizing DSP algorithms for radar or other relevant sensors
  • Expertise in MATLAB and C/C++ programming languages
