Signal Processing Systems Engineer

Job Summary:

As a seasoned Signal Processing Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for developing advanced signal processing algorithms and designing end-to-end systems to meet performance specifications. You will work with cross-functional teams to implement signal processing solutions that drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and test signal processing algorithms utilizing techniques in Detection & Estimation Theory, Random Processes Analysis, and Communications and Information Theory
  • Design and simulation of end-to-end systems from the ground up to meet required performance specifications
  • Data analysis and verification of algorithms against real-world data
  • Implementations in MATLAB and C/C++ languages, with experience in other languages (e.g., Python)

Requirements:

  • MSEE+ with focus in DSP or digital communications theory
  • 3-10 years of experience in implementation of DSP algorithms
  • Solid fundamentals in mathematics, digital signal processing, and communication systems
  • Experience in designing, choosing, and optimizing DSP algorithms for RADAR or other relevant sensors

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Background with Radar or LiDAR Signal Processing (FMCW)
  • Expertise in Radar link budgets, analysis of Minimum Detectable Signal, Signal-to-Noise, and Signal-to-Clutter
