Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Technical Author to create Service Bulletins (SBs) for Airbus. The successful candidate will possess expertise in authoring SBs specifically focusing on the STD Airframe and Hydro Mech & Cargo domains.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and revising SBs according to requirements in the SBO, performing configuration analysis as per Airbus SB standard, and staying familiar with Airbus standards including S1000D, iSpec 2200, and ASD STE – 100.

The successful candidate will conduct technical analysis of criteria and related data sources, utilize knowledge of SAP PCS and authoring tools in SAMM DACAS, TAKSY, GIDOCA, GYPSY, Airn@V, ZAMIZ, PASS SSCI, and APS, and understand cold working SBs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creation and revision of SBs according to requirements in the SBO.
  • Perform configuration analysis as per Airbus SB standard to identify pre- and post-drawings.
  • Stay familiar with Airbus standards, including S1000D, iSpec 2200, and ASD STE – 100.
  • Conduct technical analysis of criteria and related data sources.
  • Utilize knowledge of SAP PCS and authoring tools in SAMM DACAS, TAKSY, GIDOCA, GYPSY, Airn@V, ZAMIZ, PASS SSCI, and APS.
  • Understand cold working SBs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

B.E / B. Tech in Aeronautics, B.E / B. Tech in mechanical engineering with aeronautical engineering industry exposure, or AME with airline experience and SB authoring background are required.
