Network Documentation Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to create and implement a structured documentation framework within Confluence for our network.

The primary focus is to establish templates and organization for as-built diagrams, contact information, runbooks, and design guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop a structured conventions framework for documenting network details in Confluence.
  • Create standardized templates for site documentation, runbooks, and design guidelines to ensure consistency and ease of access.
  • Convert existing network design data into Lucid templates aligned with the new structure.
  • Collaborate with the network team to gather data, understand site-specific details, and accurately represent the current network state.
  • Pilot the documentation process on a subset of sites.
  • Develop training materials and conduct sessions to ensure smooth adoption of the new documentation structure.

Qualifications:

  • Strong experience with network documentation and designing structured documentation frameworks.
  • Experience using Confluence as a documentation platform.
  • Familiarity with Lucid chart or similar diagramming tools.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to create clear, consistent documentation.
