Job Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Commercial Strategist to lead our finance operations, drive business growth, and ensure financial excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Leadership:
    • Oversee end-to-end financial processes, focusing on revenue cycle management.
    • Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in all financial activities.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting:
    • Prepare annual budgets and rolling forecasts for strategic decision-making.
    • Monitor and track financial performance, highlighting variances and providing actionable insights.
  • Financial Reporting & Analysis:
    • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
    • Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial reports.
    • Prepare detailed balance sheet schedules and reconciliations.
  • MIS, Audit & Compliance:
    • Develop and maintain comprehensive Management Information Systems (MIS) for informed decision-making.
    • Coordinate with auditors and ensure smooth audit closures.
    • Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements and internal controls.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Liaise with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders for finance-related matters.
    • Provide financial insights and commercial support to leadership for strategic decisions.
  • Additional Responsibilities:
    • Handle special projects and assignments as directed by senior management.
    Qualifications
    • Chartered Accountant (CA) or ICWA/MBA (Finance) degree.
    • 8–10 years of relevant experience, preferably from the advertising/media industry.
    • Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
    • Exposure to legal/commercial drafting will be an added advantage.
