Electrical Component Sourcing Specialist

This position involves managing the procurement of electrical components from various suppliers. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the electronics industry and be able to effectively source components to meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sourcing Electrical Components:
  • Developing and implementing effective sourcing strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of components
  • Identifying and qualifying new suppliers to expand the company's network and improve supply chain resilience
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and optimize component costs
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (EE or EC) or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in sourcing electrical components, preferably in active components and semiconductors
  • Strong technical knowledge of electronic components and circuit design
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with ability to work effectively with global suppliers and internal stakeholders

  • APICS CPM certification is an added advantage
  • Commodities expected to be managed include Technical Sourcing expertise, Electronics - Protection device, Fuse, Relay, LCD, Switch, Crystal, Filter, Discretes - LEDs, Optos etc., Electrical - Magnetics, transformers, CTs, Inductor, Power supplies, Wiring harness, Connectors etc.
