Job Title: Senior Full Stack Engineer

Overview:

As a senior full stack engineer, you will play a key role in driving the development of our web and mobile applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement user experience solutions from wireframes to release.
  • Work closely with designers and stakeholders to develop elegant solutions to complex problems.
  • Develop RESTful APIs and event-driven microservices using Kafka, leveraging our elastic AWS infrastructure.
  • Build web and mobile APIs, develop microservices to evolve our architecture and build products, utilizing Kotlin / Java but also allowing for the use of other languages as needed.
  • Write maintainable code using TDD, DDD, and Continuous Integration and Delivery.
  • Owning the development process, ensuring best practices are followed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Maths, Physics, or related field.
  • Experience building and maintaining mobile apps, with a focus on software quality and maintainability.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript, with experience in building modern JavaScript component applications.
  • Strong understanding of ReactJS and React Native, with a preference for GraphQL but not requiring it.
  • Fluency in Kotlin, Java, or Scala, with solid experience in back-end development.
  • Experience collaborating on software projects with design and backend aspects, driven by customer feedback and data insights.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment, with excellent communication and organisational skills.
